Proxy checkers and API demos

Try public browser tests, inspect an IP lookup or explore a response contract. Each resource explains its output, access and what you can compare.

Choose a test

01 / ShieldLabsLive browser/session test

ShieldLabs Anonymity Checker

Inspect your own visit, connection masking and device/network context.

Output
Risk score, identifiers and network signals when the check completes.
Access
Public checker. A timed-out check has no verdict; use Check again to retry. Integrated evaluation uses Start Free.
Try this
Compare a regular browser visit with one permitted change, such as a private window or an authorized VPN connection.
02 / FingerprintLive browser/session demo

Fingerprint VPN detection demo

Inspect how the current browser event is assessed for VPN-related signals.

Output
Device/event context and VPN detection from the demo workflow.
Access
Public demo; full Smart Signals and API access depend on the chosen plan or trial.
Try this
Use your own browser and compare the same test on your regular connection and an authorized VPN.
03 / ipgeolocation.ioLive browser/network demo

ipgeolocation.io real-time detection

Inspect the vendor’s separate client-side live detection workflow.

Output
VPN/proxy scores, confidence and IP/network observations exposed by the demo.
Access
Public demonstration; integrated use needs a paid plan, with a trial request available.
Try this
Run the current-browser test and compare its scope with the documented IP Security response.
04 / proxycheck.ioIP/network lookup

proxycheck.io single lookup

Inspect the current address through the single-IP web interface.

Output
Network/location information, classifications and available risk or confidence fields.
Access
Public lookup with limits. API query allowances and plan conditions apply separately.
Try this
Use your own address or an address you are authorized to test, then record the timestamp and complete result.
05 / IPQualityScoreIP/network lookup

IPQualityScore proxy and VPN test

Inspect an IP-level proxy/VPN and fraud-risk lookup.

Output
IP lookup result when the provider allows the test to complete.
Access
Public tool route; automated-browser access can be blocked. A blocked page is not a negative proxy result.
Try this
Open in a normal browser and use only your own or permitted test IP. Confirm the result before comparing scores.
06 / IPinfoIP/network information

IPinfo current IP lookup

Read the network and location context for the current address.

Output
The address, ASN/network/location and any fields exposed by this public lookup.
Access
Public page. Displayed web fields do not establish that every field is included in the free Lite API.
Try this
Record the network and date, then compare the documented Core or Max entitlement for your intended API call.
07 / proxycheck.ioResponse simulator, not a live detection test

proxycheck.io v3 test console

Inspect dummy responses and status codes while building a v3 adapter.

Output
Simulated examples of the documented response and error contract.
Access
Public documentation console. Its samples do not query the live API and consume no daily queries.
Try this
Exercise parsing and error handling. Keep these fixtures separate from the live single-IP lookup when evaluating detection.

Repeat one useful comparison.

  1. Record a baseline on your normal connection.
  2. Change one allowed condition: a VPN route, browser context or controlled proxy exit.
  3. Record the time, fields, unknown values and result scale.
  4. Repeat after an exit rotates, and include legitimate shared-network users.

Read each scale on its own terms.

A provider confidence score, proxy classification and visitor risk score measure different things. A public demo is a first look; use a permitted labeled evaluation to assess production fit.

Account-based evaluations

Ipregistry signup credits, Spur Community/Teams, MaxMind evaluations and IP2Location.io trials have their own account and field entitlements. They are not additional public live checkers in the list above. Inspect the alternatives and source pages before setting up a pilot.

FAQ

Does this directory run the checks?

No. Each link opens the provider’s test. The directory filters static resource cards and does not embed third-party SDKs or receive their output.

Which checkers assess a live browser visit?

ShieldLabs, Fingerprint and the ipgeolocation.io real-time workflow use the observed browser context. IP lookups describe an address; the proxycheck.io test console shows simulated API responses.

What if a checker times out or blocks access?

Keep the result unavailable. A timeout, permission gate or access block is not evidence that the connection is clean or a proxy. Retry through the supported provider route when appropriate.

Can a free public check prove API accuracy?

No. It exposes a limited result for one request. Evaluate the required paid or free API fields on permitted labeled sessions, legitimate controls and repeated routes before making production decisions.
